Pictures – Panama to Jamaica

It was a sprint, mostly on starboard tack. We did a lot of sitting on the rail

We worked hard at it. (Really)

The final day dawns

And there's Jamaica

Land Ho Jamaica!

Looming on the horizon on our other side – GB.

Bogies at 3 o'clock (more like 8:30)

And they are getting closer

Bogies, getting closer

It was close!

  1. Great shots, Sarah –thanks for sharing. I wish you could have seen my 90 year old mom sitting beside me at the computer enthralled with YB technology and shouting, “Go, Henrietta, go!” as you played dinghy racing in big boats for those final miles. Such excitement for your fans around the world as well as for all the HL team. Fabulous teamwork, great tactics and trimming – huge congratulations! May you all be loving your Jamaican days and nights. Hugs, Bernice
